At the Representative Town Meeting of the Town of Greenwich to be held in the Moderator’s Hall of Central Middle School on Monday October 24,2005 at 8:00 P.M.(E.D.T.) the following additional item will be considered:
13. To consider and act upon the following resolution, requested by the Superintendent of School and pending approval by the Board of Education and the Board of Estimate and Taxation.
RESOLVED, that the sum of $166,800 be and is hereby appropriated to be added to Account Z 6801792 59560 26092 – North Street Boiler Project. Said appropriation to come from the Capital and Non-Recurring Fund.

EXPLANATORY COMMENTS
The North St. School boiler and heating system replacement project has recently experienced unanticipated cost overruns due to a) asbestos abatement and environmental testing services, b) the need to remediate pre-existing conditions not related to this project but identified by the building inspector as conditions for final approval, c) the failure of existing heating coils in the gym when the new system was activated.
